The Dual Wiegand Interface is a module which allows Wiegand technology readers to be connected to a ChallengerPlus or Network Access Controller system.
This module also provides inputs and outputs which may be used for door functions such as, connecting door sensors, warning devices and controlling locks. The interface is connected by an RS-485 LAN allowing it to operate either close to the control equipment, or out in the field where it is needed, and provides a tamper input which can be connected to an enclosure tamper switch.
